Top 5 Cabin Getaways In Washington

We wanted to head to a cabin and get away from the hustle and bustle of Seattle. Originally I wanted to travel far, far away. I had four glorious days off of work and thought heck, I’ll go to Hawaii, maybe even Puerto Rico. It’s not often that I get so much time off of work in a row. Instead of palm trees and coconut drinks we decided to save our money and head 30 minutes out of Seattle to a quaint little town called Index. Population: A little over 100. Close to Skykomish, Index is a mountainous place with a river flowing on its side. Even though we didn’t get a beach we did get a cute little cabin and lots of land for our Australian Shepherd to run on. Looking forward to your next Pacific Northwest getaway too? Check out 5 of our favorite cabin getaways in Washington State:

  1. Boutique Tire Swing Cabin, Index, WA $116/night (Where we stayed!)

*Looks can be deceiving* This place surpassed my expectations. Behind the house there is a hot tub, huge grassy area perfect for dogs, (They are pet-friendly which is a win-win!), a river that puts you to sleep at night and a cozy, rustic yet modern interior. This would be my top choice in cabins any day! It’s also the least expensive. (Yay.)

2. Tye Haus – A-Frame Cabin, Skykomish, WA $180/night

3. Foss Haus – A-Frame Cabin, Skykomish, WA $160/night

4. Riverfront Getaway With Hot tub, Gold Bar, WA $149/night

5. Summit at Snoqualmie A Frame Cabin, Snoqualmie Pass, WA $120/night

I highly recommend these cabins and their locations. We stayed at cabin #1 and loved it so much that we’re already planning our trip back. Have you stayed at any of these cabins yet? Leave a comment below and let me know if you did.
