More than ten hours of travel had us ready for some serious R&R. After a wonderful ceviche dish just down the road, we found ourselves full, tired and not so excited to leave our cute room in the morning for our 3:45 AM bus ride to our next location. Thankfully though, we felt very comfortable staying at The Lot Boutique Hotel in Miraflores, Peru.
Our stay at The Lot was cozy, quick and convenient. Miraflores is known to be a safe place for tourists as well. Although it is a little farther way from the airport, it was conveniently located to our bus stop via Cruz Del Sur. The best way to describe Miraflores to me is by explaining that it is a modern coastal town. You can smell the ocean when you step outside.
The Lot included complimentary tea, finger sandwiches and fruit. Additionally, breakfast is included at no extra cost. Speaking of cost, the total for our room was $106. In Peru, you can find a wide variety of prices for hotels. In this case, we paid for comfort and convenience. 24 hour assistance, a bar, a trendy loft and many choices in restaurants just steps away made it a great stay.
The staff was very accommodating for our late check in and early check out. They even offered to pack us a lunch for our 5 hour bus ride to Ica. If your next journey takes you to Lima, I highly suggest you stay here.
